[ It was fine. Ishtar would accept his flowers either way. He worked hard for them and he probably put a lot of thought into picking them for her. ]

[ She beamed with a bright cheerful smile in greeting the both of them. ]

Oh thank you! These are really pretty and they smell really nice. It's okay, it's not your fault. I was going to text you since I thought you might have gotten a little lost. I'm glad you made it here safely.

[With that, the boy shifted his weight before he scratched the side of his cheek]

We did but I didn't know how to read whatever you sent me! I had to ask a lot of people where it was. [Mumble mumble]

I thought we were going to have to spend the entire day looking where you lived! Now that would have been really bad, the flowers would have been died! And it would have made everyone sad!

[ Ishtar was happy to have him come safely if anything. She finally found something she could put it in and with a little bit of water she put the flowers in the middle of the eating table. ]

Oh, I'm sorry. You should have told me! I would have come to pick you up if anything. Ah, It's alright. It's the thought that counts. I'm glad you were able to find it regardless.

[ She replied with a nervous laugh. ]

Do you eat sweets or drink tea? I have some chocolates I made a while ago and some tea someone taught me how to brew? Of course, your friend can have some too if he wants!

[ With that being said the cat that Ishtar was taking care of was curiously intrigued by the newcomers and meows briefly for attention as Ishtar turned her back for a moment to get things for Takeru. ]

I just didn't want you to worry about me but don't worry, I'm here now though! I'll just have to remember you live here the next time I come!

[He said with a smile. Although, if Ishtar heard carefully, there might be a hint of nervousness behind his words. However, it was all cut short the moment he saw the cat!

At first, the boy and Digimon just stared at it before attempting to get closer.] Of course, I love chocolate! But what kind of tea do you have?

[And then Patamon spoke up!] He better or else I'll never forgive him! [And yet their eyes never left the cat]

I worry more when you don't tell me sweetheart! I'm glad to know and please do. I would like to know just in case I need to find you or something.

[ She smiled softly at the boy. She was highly content that he was able to make it here in one piece. There was and Ishtar might have heard it a little since she was pretty bad at saying things like that too! The cat meows a bit and rubs its head against Takeru's leg after getting close enough, though it's not certain it wants to play with Patamon though. ]

I have some Black Tea, Herbal Tea, and possible some Fruit Teas.

[ She replied when he asked. ]

Well...then do you want to know my address? That way, you can find me whenever you want me?

[While the boy didn't mind that Ishtar was worried, a part of him really didn't want her to worry. He can understand why but he can take care of himself! ...Maybe! Either way, once the cat went up to Takeru, he giggled before attempting to pat it.]

All of those sound really good! Maybe we'll have the fruit tea but thank you, Ishtar-san!

Although, Patamon seemed a little annoyed that the cat didn't seem to get near him. However, he just gave a chuckle]

Yeah, it'll be rude if you two get to eat chocolate and tea and I don't! You wouldn't want me to go hungry do you?

That would be great. I'll exchange mine with you too if you want. Fruit Tea it is!

[ She chimed with a bright smile as she started to prepare all the things she was talking about earlier when Takeru decided what he wanted with Patamon. Ishtar grabbed three cups and made a pitcher full of Fruit Tea, along with a bit of honey for sweetness if they chose that route. Once the tea was done brewing and such, Ishtar lets it sit and cool a bit so she could add ice to it.

While Patamon was a bit annoyed, the cat meowed as if it was looking at him to see what he would do. Of course, at that meow, a bat comes flying straight at Patamon because it could and new people! Ishtar kept strange company! ]

Hehe, I'll make sure there's plenty for the three of us!

[As Ishtar was getting ready to make the tea, the boy just had to stare and wonder if she needed some help or not. After all, when it was only him and his mom in a house, he was use to helping her a lot. Which was why he walked closer before tilting his head at her.

In the meantime, as Patamon got closer to the cat? He immediately found a bat coming straight for him and right in his face! Of course the Digimon gave out a yell before Takeru looked back at him!]

Whoa! What was that? I didn't know you have a bat here too! Now I'm wondering how many pets you have here!

[ Ishtar didn't ask him to help because he's a guest. He was also younger, so she wanted him to rely on her a little more. She had grown quite fond of him recently. He's such a sweet and caring kid. Their first meeting wouldn't have been so successful if it weren't for him helping her through it. She was grateful for that.

The cat watched as the bat plopped itself on Patamon and lazily just stayed there as Ishtar chuckled a bit from the back. Oh dear, what happened now? ]

Pico that's not how you make friends silly!

[ She replied calling over to the overexcited bat. ]

Just those two. Bells is my cat and Pico was a bat from an old friend. He left that other world I came from and this little guy was left alone. So, I pretty much adopted him. He's really sweet really. He probably wanted attention too~

[As Takeru kept on watching Ishtar, he wasn't sure should he ask if she needed any help. It looks like she got everything under control but he was never sure. His mom always said that he didn't need to worry but that didn't stop him from doing that.

Meanwhile, his thought had to be cut short the moment he saw the bat going straight for Patamon! While Patamon was struggling to get Pico off of him, he just couldn't help but flail at what was going on!!]

Well if he wanted some attention, all he had to do was ask! He didn't need to scare me! [Patamon finally said before looking down at both pets and attempting to wave hi to them.

Although, Takeru was pinged by something else!] Whoa, wait a minute! What other world? You didn't tell me anything about that!

[ He could sit his adorable self down and play with the animals really. Ishtar didn't want a guest to do work anyway. He was a guest and she didn't mind making things for him because she offered to. Bells was purring for attention though, flopping over briefly as he saw his owner was not paying attention to him.

The bat kind of made some incoherent sounds as it eventually settles itself on top of Patamon's head. ]

He does that a lot. He doesn't quite know how to behave normally for the lack of a better. There is fruit on the table if you want to feed him. Bells is just a bit calmer and stuff. Don't let him think you're a toy though, he might scratch you, Patamon.

[ She chuckled lightly. ]

Yeah, I was in another world before this. It was a lot more cruel than here. We had collars and it restricted our abilities immensely. Pico's owner was a short tempered vampire, but he had a kind and gentle heart. Oh? I didn't? Oh silly me, it must have slipped my mind.

[ Really, Facility was not something she wanted to talk about too much but she could talk about the nice things with Takeru. ]

[While Patamon giggled and continued to play with the bat, Takeru just couldn't help but giggle as well. While his attention would focus back to Ishtar at times, the bat eventually won as he tried to pet it!

With that, the boy gave the fruit to said bat while Patamon mumbled to himself]

You're lucky, you have a lot of pets here! My mom never got one, it's always been just the both of us back home! It must be nice to have them all the time here!

[Still, as both Patamon and Takeru listened to Ishtar, the smile on their faces changed into a somber one. Although, the boy eventually gave a sad smile as he watched Bells eating the fruit]

Well...you're not there anymore are you? I don't know what kind of world it was like but it sounds really mean. I know Cerealia isn't that nice either but it seems a lot better than that other place!

And especially when you can make new friends here! That sounds fun right? [He's trying to cheer her up somehow! This would work right??]

[ Pico just enjoyed the affection he was getting form the other flying creature while nestling in his head and flying around him to his leisure. Once the tea boiled and Ishtar allowed it to cool off, she went for the fridge to grab a plastic wrapped plate of sweets that she had made the other day. Pico squeaked cutely as he was being petted from time to time afterwards.

It was a rare sight to be able to do this in Facility, so it was nice for her to do them here. Of course, she would make hot chocolate if she had more time as well. ]

They're rare to have honestly. People had a huge fuss about having animals where my home was. Hehehe.

[ Ishtar nodded her head. ]

It was pretty mean. Not a place I would want anyone to be honest. Of course, you're right, Cerealia is a bit tough but it's not as bad. At least, not yet and we have enough to eat and things to do that aren't so terrible.

[ She smiled. ]

Yup, like being friends with you and Patamon!

[The moment the boy heard the water boiling, almost by instinct, he quickly got up and rushed over to Ishtar's side. Of course, he had to tell himself that he was suppose to be the guest here.

While Patamon was attempting to see if Bells could still stay on his head while he was standing on one feet, Takeru just mumbled to himself]

Really? Then I guess pets must be really rare back home! I see a lot of people with cats and dogs and I always told my mom I wanted one!

[Of course, Patamon more or less counted as a pet didn't he? Still, as he watched his Digimon, he just gave Ishtar a curious look]

Not yet? What is that suppose to mean? You mean playing on Tetris wasn't as bad as it could get?

[Good job, you might have scared off the kid. Now what??]

[ He's such a sweet kid trying to help her with things. She supposed she couldn't fight him too much, so she puts a few plates in his hands. ]

Why don't you set the table while I finish with the tea?

[ She replied with a small smile. The animals were having fun coddling up to Patamon since they think he's similar to them and all. ]

Well, I guess you could say that and oh-- I see well did you ever get one by any chance?

[ She mused light heartedly, though she did laugh nervously at his inquisition, Maybe that was not the best thing to say to a boy. ]

Sorry, I get a little depressing sometimes. I'm not sure if it can, though Tetris, was mild. I don't want to lie to you about that.

[ She replied with a small nod but she adds the next set of words seriously. ] I'll protect you and Patamon if something more awful happens. You have my word for it.

[Takeru wasn't going to argue with that! The moment he saw Ishtar coming his way and handing him those said plates, he immediately grinned before rushing over toward the table!]

Of course! I'll set those fast as I can! [Well, as fast as he could without tripping over and creating a mess. As he did, he just looked back at Patamon before giving a small smile]

A pet? No, I never did but that's because my mom was always too busy to get one. I always wanted a goldfish but I think I would always forget to feed it. I know it's a lot of work taking care of something!

[Not to mention that it was only him and his mom. She was always so busy with her work, he didn't want to add anymore stuff for her to take care of. But once he was finished setting up the table, he gave off a proud smirk as he looked at his work!

Although, as he listened to her words?]

Really, you would? But don't you have to take care of yourself too? I don't to make it harder on you if you have to protect me!

[ What a lively young boy. She was kind of amused that he really wanted to help out with the small things. While tea was cooling off, she handed him the large plate of chocolate so he could take it to the table as well. ]

Be careful, though Takeru. I wouldn't want you to get hurt working too hard. [ She replied with a soft laugh. ]

It really is, but it's rewarding if you do put the time into it. Well, I suppose that can't be help. Your mom probably works hard for you and her huh?

[ Ishtar didn't have any parents, and was always happy to hear that other people were more fortunate to have a parent in some way or form. Eventually, Ishtar carried the clear tea kettle over to the table and set it on a plate. ]

Yes of course I would. I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself and protect you too. It's not that hard. I think we're about ready to enjoy our little tea party.

[ She added after a moment of pausing. ]

[Can she see his mouth watering? While he had a lot of sweets before, there was just something always amazing about seeing candy right in front of him! Without another thought, he quickly took said plate and sat right by the table!]

Don't worry, I won't! I know my mom told me that it is good to help but not if you're going to be sick too!

[As he tried to gesture Patamon toward him, he only gave a pause in return] Yeah, she does. But I know she had to work a lot harder when my brother and my dad were still around.

I wonder if that's a good thing or not...

[Not that he wanted to think about it but he did have to wonder. Was his mom happier now that his dad wasn't around anymore? However, his thoughts were out the window as Ishtar got the kettle over to the table]

Then c'mon, you should eat some chocolates too! But I never had a tea party before, this is kind of exciting!

[ It's really cute that he had his mouth watering at the sight. She's not going to stop him from stuffing himself with it once they both settled comfortably on the table. Ishtar grabbed the tea cups and started pouring tea down for them, along with a tray of sugar and creamer if anyone wanted milk tea in the process. ]

That's the right way to think about it, Takeru. You'll be a great adult someday.

[ Ishtar replied with a brief giggle at his words. Takeru was going to be a great adult when he got older that's for sure. ]

Oh, I see. What happened with your Dad and brother? I'm not sure. It depends I guess.

[ She asked out curiosity as the last of the plastic was off and Takeru could help himself to the chocolates as much as he wants. ]

I will in just a second. Patamon should join us too!

[ She chimed softly. ] I guess it's more of an impromptu tea party. We can do an actual one later?

[As she started pouring out the tea, the boy waited for it to cool down. He didn't need to told twice about how hot it was. While he waited for Ishtar to sit down next to him, he just giggled to himself]

I really hope so because I want to help out as many people as I can. I don't really know how but I think I'll figure something out!

[But just then? When Ishtar said those words, there was a noticeable pause from the young boy. He didn't say anything at first, but when he finally did? His voice just suddenly lowered]

...They're not living together with us anymore. They live in a different apartment from us.

[While he watched the older girl take off the plastic, he didn't say anything else other than that. In fact, it looked almost as if his appetite just went away.

As he gave a pout, he just looked back at Ishtar and then back at the tea]

Y-Yeah...we can do that. Maybe when we have a lot more to get ready…

[ That was good. She would bad if he got hurt somehow from the tea. Ishtar waited patiently for him to speak again as she nibbled on the morsels that she had made earlier. They were the right amount of sweet. Takeru was a bright child, so she wanted to make sure he could smile as much as he could. ]

I am sure you will find some solution. It does take time. Man, it took me forever to learn to do the things I can do now and man was it a work out! You're much more hardworking than me, so I don't doubt that you'll be of great help.

[ Ishtar tilted her head when the change in his expression among other things. ]

I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't have asked. It must be tough for you.

[ She replied giving him a worried look. She reached over slowly to pat his head a little bit to cheer him up. ]

Great, I'll see if I can get some hands to help out too. We can make all kinds of yummy food and tea~

[ She's going to change the subject so he doesn't feel down. ]

[With that, the boy shook his head. Instead, he just smiled sadly to the older girl before attempting to bite some more chocolate]

No, it's okay! I know my mom and dad aren't together anymore but I really hope that one day they will! I know my brother had a hard time since they aren't married.

But I can't help but wonder if he and my friends are okay though.

[If what they said was true or not. Either way, he just wanted them to be safe somewhere. Still, he didn't want to make Ishtar sad!

So as he attempted to bright up his smile, he just giggled.]

We will! I can't wait until we do that, I never got to make a lot back home! I just help my mom out in the kitchen whenever she needs help but I never do a lot!

[ She would try her best to cheer him up for the time being, even if it wasn't working much. Ishtar didn't like it when others are sad. She would rather they all had smiles on their faces and be happy. It was much better and it made her happy knowing that. ]

I sure hope so too! It's great that you have a mom and a dad. You should hold them dear to you, sweetie.

[ Ishtar replied biting into another piece of the chocolate that she made. Sweets were a rarity in Facility, and thus having more of it here, prompted her to eat more than she should have. She might even be spoiling her appetite for the evening, but oh well, there wasn't much she could do about it. ]

I am sure they'll be okay. They're probably strong just like you, Takeru.

[ She tried to encourage him to the best of her abilities. ]

I'll teach you some things if you want. I've been trying to learn how to cook a bit more on my own and make stuff like this!

[The last thing he wanted was for her to be sad for his sake. While the divorced happened years ago, there was no reason for Takeru to feel so sad about it right?

Of course, even if they're not together anymore, at least I still have them! And that they're willing to talk to each other!

[...Well...somewhat. But that's besides the point right now!

Now that Patamon flew over to him and ate some of the chocolate, Takeru had to wonder if he was going to be able to eat dinner tonight though...]

Then how about we do that right now? I don't know if you have the things for it but it would be cool if we could!

[ Ishtar cared for him, and she wasn't bothered by worrying about others. It was by Ishtar's nature that he would be sad for someone else. She understood some things much too well sometimes. ]

Yes, that's a great way to think about it. I feel like that's a good approach to that. Even if they are separated you still have them both and it's great to know that they talk to each other still.

[ It's fine, that's all she needs to hear to feel happy for the boy. Ishtar offered Patamon some more chocolate as he floated over to them. ]

I think I have some in the fridge. I'm pretty sure he bought enough things to be used. I'm not the greatest, but we can make something right now if you want.
