[Of course, while fighting was a last resort, it didn't stop from using force. And the worse part was that he was trying to protect his best friend while also hurting his best friend as well. To know that he might have ended the life of a robot was giving him so much guilt and perhaps. a lot more than what a 7 year old should.]

Then can I ask you something? When you do have to fight, how do you not feel bad? And when you hurt someone really really badly?

[ She blinks in confusion when he asked her about fighting and how did she not feel bad? In truth, she always felt horrible fighting in any way or form. It's not something she is proud of. ]

You just don't you know? It's not easy having to fight someone but there's no way you won't feel bad about it. Only people who truly are heartless don't feel bad. I feel bad when I fight but I have to take responsibility for the stuff that I do. Sometimes just not feeling bad isn't an option. You're carrying the weight of doing something to hurt someone else and sometimes it's either you do it or you die not doing it.

[While Takeru wasn't exactly sure what Ishtar was saying, he did understand the point. After all, if he didn't fight back, Hikari could have gotten badly hurt. He knew that deep down but it still didn't make it right.

I know, I had to do it or else that robot would have done something really bad. She said she was going to kill Hikari-chan and I don't know if she would really do it either. But I just know I couldn't stand by and do nothing.

But I still wish there was still a way we could take her out of doing that. Because I still think of her as a friend even if she didn't.

[ Ishtar replied with a brief chuckle. She doesn't sound too confident in her answer though. In any case she was curious as she watched him get his drink. How he was able to do it without pixie dust, she didn't know but it looked like his glowing self earned the brownie points.

[ It was really hard trying to explain things to Takeru because Ishtar didn't entirely know how to word things correctly for a child. She didn't have much of a filter in general so sounding like an adult was a bit of a trick for her. At least, he somewhat got it. ]

When they try to harm your friends and family, that's where you have to take action. I'm okay if it's directed towards me cuz you know I can handle it but if it's directed to anyone I care about, I gotta stop them. I think that's what you're saying too.
