[ Well, Ishtar also had bad memories of things that happened in Facility. So this was not helping her mood. Though, Nanoa was right, this was just a jungle for the time being. ]

Yeah a jungle. Having codes messed with could be really troublesome, I agree.

It was really creepy! But we came out alright in the end so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. And the jungle isn't all that bad, either! At least now we have open skies! The metal roof of the colony was getting a bit stifling, to be honest.

I guess it's great to see the nature more than the metal. I do agree on that part.

[ She replied looking up at the sky a bit. ]

[ She replied with a brief head tilt. ]

Let's see. Assuming this is Tellus, we should probably find our way back to Cerealia at some point. I can't say it's a perfect place to live, but it does beat the jungle, and if we want to really get home, we probably need the technology.

[ And Nanoha really wants to get home. ]

Apart from that, surviving here isn't a big deal. I can take care of the animals here easily enough, so I'll probably try to get as many people under my protection as possible. The jungle must be rough for people who can't fly.

Yeah it's not the best but it's better than a jungle. We need the stuff in Cerealia for research and stuff right?

[ She mused giving the other girl a raised brow and a thought since that's what it seemed to be leaning towards to be honest. Ishtar did too and she wanted to be back where she could find ways to get back home than be stuck in this place. ]

I'm pretty much the same as long as it's not too overpowering, I think I'm good to go and protecting people is what I do best at right now. It must be great to be able to fly.

Well, unless somebody can build a laboratory out of mud and wood, at least.

[ She's not going to dismiss the possibility. Alchemists can do pretty amazing things. Too bad Nanoha's not one. She knows about the bare minimum for magic users from her world, which is definitely not enough. ]

Flying is great! It's honestly one of my favourite things to do. I've been able to fly since I was nine, and I wouldn't give it up for the world. That it's really helpful for getting things done is, of course, a bonus!

Yeah, that's not really possible unless they got someone who is a complete genius.

[ Though the possibility is definitely there. It would be useful but the idea of it was complicated in general. What to do really. If only smarter people from her world was here too. It would work wonders honestly. ]

I wish I knew what that felt like I can't fly or anything like that.

[ There's a surprised look on Ishtar's face as Nanoa declared those words. ]

... Wait you're gonna let me fly with you!? That's totally awesome and the condition is fine! I don't want to fall off! Are you even sure that's okay?

Sure, why not? It's a limited time offer, I don't always give rides to people, you know!

[ And with a tap of her foot, small wings of light sprout from her heels, and she starts hovering a few inches off the ground. ]

[ She chimed with a laugh from her lips. She was such a nice person and Ishtar was grateful to have met such a friendly person. She even offered Ishtar a ride on flying! ]

[ Nanoha scooped Ishtar up and kicked off into the air, clearing the forest level altogether and heading up towards cloud cover. ]

Don't speak out loud. We'll break the sound barrier soon, and I'm shielding us from the worst of it, but you might bite your tongue.

[ Nanoha's voice rings directly in Ishtar's head. Telepathy is in fact one of her many skills. ]

[ Ishtar was taken back by the amazing scenery she was getting from them being in the air and towards the cloud cover. She had a bright smile on her face and her eyes were almost sparkling at the scenery. ]'

Whoa, you can do telepathy?!!

[ She was so surprised by the voice in her head. ]

[ Well this turned out to be very exciting for Ishtar! ]

It's not difficult. It was one of the first things I learned, actually!

We wouldn't be able to communicate while dogfighting without it! Can you imagine shouting over this wind?

[ Even with her barriers quietly shielding them from the worst of it, it would really be impossible. Plus, the small problem of them moving faster than sound.

[ Once Nanoha has climbed to cloud level, she stops moving and lands on a barrier. ]

[ The scenery below stops being a blur of greenery now that they're no longer moving, and they get to have a true bird's eye view of Tellus. ]

[ Ishtar on the other hand was admiring how amazing the view was and mesmerized by how awesome Nanoa's skills were. She had not the words to explain how she felt about the whole ordeal. It was great to have friends like Nanoa who showed her many new things. She was smiling rather brightly and happily for a moment before speaking to the other girl through their telepathic link. ]

I won't, I promise. Everything is so beautiful. I can't get the image out of my head. I've never seen a scene like this before. At least, not this high up.

That's why I love flying. There's really nothing like it. The wind against your skin, the view from far above, a vast expanse in every direction with nothing in your way... It's a feeling of freedom that you can never get anywhere else.

[ Nanoha's thoughts are wistful. She really loves to fly. It's one of her top five favourite things in the world. ]

Yeah it makes you really forget your worries and everything else. You just admire the beauty of everything around you instead.

[ She replied nodding her head. She could tell that Nanoa loved to fly by the way she said her words. Ishtar wished she could do something like this daily. It was a nice feeling to get away from all the pain and suffering once in a while. ]

And when you beat the speed of sound, everything gets stripped away. The world beneath your feet turns into a blur of colour, and nothing can catch you.

[ Except when dogfighting, but that's a different matter altogether. ]
